Soothes When Nothing Else Will September 2, 2008 C.A. Ostaff (Morgantown, WV USA) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I bought it because like another reviewer, I hate obnoxious sounding toys. I've been pleased with the Lamaze toys, and this was no exception. The crinkles on the flowers are entertaining and good for teething. The lights catch my daughter's attention. She's not so big on setting off the chimes, but when she's unbearably tired of being in the car, this portable toy will catch her attention when no other toy will do. I keep it in the car just so she has something fun and special there - and it doesn't make me crazy while driving!
engaging plaything August 22, 2008 Treasia L. Leatherbury (Oklahoma, USA) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
My granddaughter (9 months) will sit and play with the pretty flowers for several minutes. She has been engaged by this "toy" for several months, now, and has not lost interest. The "music" is not too loud nor does it seem to become annoying to the adults around. It is very sturdy and stands up to a toddler's rough "taps".
Musical Flowers. July 12, 2008 Jacob's Momma (Louisville, KY USA) Our son received this for a Christmas gift when he was two months old. And even though this product says it's for babys 6+ months it was such a great distracter! If our boy was really fussy during a diaper change or he was colicky my husband hit one of the flowers and it lit up all over and played music which cut out our boy's crying all together. We started using it everyday. When our son was able to really play with it on his own he liked grabbing the stems and swinging it it the air. He loves the different textures of the petals and leaves. He especially loves the one that is like the Taggie books and blankets. What's also great about this product is that there are 3 different musical options, so there are three different modes of play for him, three different song styles for you.
Totally Worth It! June 20, 2008 Nada Surfer We picked this up for our 3 month old daughter on a whim and it is a huge hit! She loves toys that lights up and quickly learned to touch the flowers and she would hear a pretty chime and see it light up. It's portable so it's easy to take on the go and soooo true about the non-obnoxious music! Favorite toy so far!
Cute little toy that is not annoying! April 29, 2008 NT 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
It seems lately that I have a hard time finding musical toys that are not annoying. It is either the music that is terrible and annoying or the singing and voices are just irritating! Plus it is hard to buy toys online because you have no idea what they sound like. But I took a chance on this and so far we love it! Very cute "chime" like sounds on it that are mellow and fun! With three options for interactive play. Flowers are cute without being cheapy looking and cheesey. It's always hard to decide what will hold your babies attention and what they will find interest in. But she seems to enjoy this and the toy is durable since she also likes to toss it around!
