Worth a Million to me. January 8, 2009 L. Lane (Kailua, HI USA) I love this swing. First of all, because it's a two-in-one; it saves money and space while serving dual purposes (which is always a plus). It has a very cute pattern. I love the classic melodies and the 6 different speeds. My 2 month old son has loved his swing and bouncer since day one. I probably get more use out of this swing than any other baby seat or toy I own. The only con I can find is that the toys above are a little boring. Well, my son loves to stare at them, but they just remind me of old, cheap, "happy meal" toys, so I wish there was something a little more interesting there instead. The mirror is great though! I also love how the seat reclines in different settings so he can be tilted back more. Overall, for me and my son, this swing is worth a million bucks. It has definitely saved my arm from falling off- haha.
Great Idea, but doesn't swing. January 1, 2009 R. Mazzuco (CA, USA) We bought this swing thinking how cool that it swings but detaches as a bouncer. A great plus in being able to move it around the house. It looks great and has good music/sounds but no matter what speed we put it on, it barely swings. The 6th speed setting is as slow as the 1 speed. We contacted amazon and they are sending a replacement. Hopefully it's just this particular swing and the next one will work great. Will update this review based off the next swing. Very disappointing, especially being a Graco product. We are looking at a Fisher Price model that got great reviews if this turns out to be a bust.
Wouldn't Buy This Again November 23, 2008 Alan Huntley (lawton, oklahoma) The swing itself is very nice looking, but that's about it. The speeds on ours for some reason don't work...it continues to stay in the lowest speed even when we repeatedly press the button for a higher speed. Because of this, we haven't used it much, and I'm pretty sure we'll be buying a different one for our next baby.
very satisfied April 21, 2008 Ultimate Ruth (Orem, UT) 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
I got this swing about a month ago, and have been very pleased thus far. My apartment isn't very big, so I LOVE that it combines a bouncy chair and swing in one, so I don't always have those separate items taking up space. My two month old really digs looking up at himself in the overhead mirror. . . but the little monkeys that hang next to it are quite lame in my opinion. If I had designed the swing, things I would have done differently: I would have made it so the toys on the tray wouldn't interfere with opening the tray fully when removing the child (in the fully reclined position when you go to open the tray, one of the toys hits the side of the swing so you can't open it completely, giving you less room to maneuver the baby in/out). I would also have liked the upper toys and mirror to be on an arm that you could move out of the way when getting the baby out. As it is, it can be a little tricky getting him out especially, without hitting his head on something. It would have been nice if the overhead toys weren't quite so high up for when the baby's in the swing, so he could try to play with them instead of just look at them. Lastly, I don't like that the music cycles through all the different songs. I'd prefer to be able to choose which song/songs to listen to instead of being locked in to having them all play. Those things aside, I really do love the swing! It runs great, I like the safari themed toys and fabric, and again, I am really pleased with the bouncy chair/swing combo. Having all sorts of options between using the swing and vibration is awesome!! And it's nice that if he's in the swing and I want to bring him with me to another room it's super easy to detach the chair, and it's just as easy to put it back on. Also, I'm glad that it has a 5 point harness. Currently my boy doesn't move around all that much so it's not so necessary now, but as he gets bigger and more mobile, I like that I'll be able to strap him in securely so I won't worry about him toppling out somehow.
Great Swing April 4, 2008 Holly J. Mcgarry This swing/bouncer chair has been really great. The only problem that we have is the chair doesn't seem to fully lock into place into the base. My son seems to like the bouncing the best but you have to do this manually. I guess everything cannot be automatic. The strap system is a bit complicated yet holds him safely in the chair.
