5 out of 5 stars Almost returned this....so glad I didn't!!!   September 11, 2007
Diva Mama (Ohio)
I bought this item a few days ago and could not figure it out to save my life......guess it was the lack of sleep from having a 16 month old and a 4 week old. After practically crying and watching the dvd about 10 times, my husband said "why don't you put it down and try later" So I boxed up the wrap and tried again in the morning. Happy happy for me, I am not a total moron and figured it out!!!

After using it for a few days, I have determined that It is the best product ever. Not only does my son love to be cuddled in the wrap, it is also very comfortable for me to wear for extended periods.

I tried the baby bjorn for my first child and she screamed whenever I placed her inside. I only wish that I had this for her.

Moral of the story? Don't give up on this product too soon. It really is quite simple to figure out, just try it out when you are refreshed.

5 out of 5 stars Easier than I expected...   June 1, 2007

I was a little worried about this product. I was afraid that it would be complicated and difficult. Fortunately, I was wrong!

What's great about this carrier is that it does hold the baby in 5 different positions...but you don't have to rewrap or change how you put on the carrier at all! You may have to tighten it or move straps around to make things comfy, but for each position, you wrap the carrier in the same way. And it's very easy. They would probably have more sales of this product if they would display the instructions.

And another thing, I have difficulties finding a carrier that fits me properly because I have a large chest and a small waist. This carrier is totally customizable. I'm positive that it would fit just about anyone - unless you're considered extremely obese.

A lot of people seem to believe that it won't protect the baby very well because it's just a long strip of stretchy fabric. Not true! I actually believe that this product is BETTER because it can hold the baby as close as you want, it's more breathable than carriers with added padding, it has a better weight distribution that YOU control (no more back/shoulder pain!!), and it's easier to put baby in and out than any carrier I've ever used. And I have tested a lot! I've borrowed my friend's carriers just to see how they work and not even a baby bjorn can hold a candle to this carrier...

Not to mention the fact that baby can easily grow out of those carriers. This carrier stretches and conforms to your body and the baby's body. You can use it until your child is 3! How many carriers can do that?

I deffinitely suggest you buy this carrier. You won't be disappointed. And if you're nervouse about how to use it, the DVD explains everything. It has great instructions and uses real people and real babies. This is one of the best products to buy.

5 out of 5 stars Very Cool, and Easy!   May 19, 2007

I really like it! My son likes it too. It's so easy to use, and so easy to get baby in and out of. I had an infantino carrier which was nearly impossible to my baby out of without laying him down first. And when can I lay him down when I'm out? With the wrap, I just pull the cover down and lift him straight up and out with no problems. The first time we used it he fell right to sleep.

It's nothing but a long piece of cotton fabric, a design used for centuries. Somethings were just right to begin with.

5 out of 5 stars The new baby shower gift.   May 7, 2007

I enjoy using my baby wrap. It is so convenient when you are running errands.I put it on from home so when I get out of the car I am ready to place my baby in. (It is a little awakward to put once you are out because of it's length so put the wrap on at home to prevent any part of it touching the ground when you are out.) Once the wrap is on you can leave it on even without the baby. It feels like you are wearing a jersey blouse/T-shirt. It is comfy for my baby, even if my baby is awake when taking her from the car seat, she goes right back to sleep next to me.

4 out of 5 stars that's a wrap   February 26, 2007

This is a wonderful wrap and my baby loves it. It can be tricky to figure out the best fit, but comes with helpful instructions. I also like the nice big pocket in the front. My back hurts a bit, but I am still figuring out the best way to wear it. The important thing is that my baby is happy and secure in it.
