The Cocoon will carry your 40-pound-or-less child in safety, comfort and style, as it features a thick seat pad, high back for added protection, a five-point harness, molded spoke guard, and adjustable foot rests (which also allows the seat to grow with your child). Easy to attach to most 26- and 27-inch bikes (without rear suspension), this carrier can also be removed easily for solo rides. A rear reflector is included. About Bell More world champions have worn Bell Helmets than all other helmet brands combined. From Grand Prix racing through the Indy 500 to Olympic cycling, Bell helmets have played a vital role in protecting sportsmen and women for nearly 50 years. Bell began as a small auto parts store in a suburb of Los Angeles. Growing under the leadership of Roy Richter, Bell became a leader in safety equipment for auto racing, motorcycling, and then bicycling. His commitment to creating great product through a close connection with the sport, along with his trust of and care for the people who worked for him, turned Bell from a one-man operation into a multi-million dollar enterprise. His legacy lives on today in Bell's commitment to racing, quality and innovation.

Cocoon bike seat December 22, 2008 E. Fess The cocoon bike seat is wonderful. It provides plenty of protection and is very comfortable for my 14 month old daughter. It was easy to install but did have one missing bolt which we called the manufacturer and received in about a week. We have enjoyed this seat tremendously.
do not purchase November 2, 2008 GUTCH (phoenix) Purchase from WalMart and the seat fell off while my grand daughter and I were ridding. DO NOT purchase
do not buy! October 3, 2008 CMG in DE (DE USA) Really unsafe product, We used the seat about a dozen times but the bolts that attached the seat to the bike base did not screw in and the seat fell off mid ride!!! Luckily my son did not get hurt, just a little scared. The only good thing was the cocoon like surroundings which shielded his fall!
Good seat October 2, 2008 G. Ortiz 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
After researching the right seat for the right price we ended up buying this Cocoon seat. Online it said "new" and after receiving it pieces were used and there was hardware missing which delayed our rides (a bit bummed about that) but once we got the bike up and running it worked really well. It is a bit complicated getting it on the bike and isn't a quick on/off if you were to move it to another bike (another bummer). My 1 year old son who's about 31" tall and 25 lbs fits great in in and my feet don't hit the foot rests at all. I have a women's 26" bike and I'm 5'6"...so overall it's a good seat.
Good for the money September 30, 2008 A. Fus (Chicago, IL) This is a good seat for the money...we have twins so we needed two seats. We got one as a hand me down, which was by a different company and much more expensive and bought this Bell seat for our second bike. The Bell seat was more complicated to install than the other seat, and not as many "bells and whisles" like shocks, etc. but I think it is just as good as far as safety. For a mid priced seat, I would recommend it to others.
