Customer Reviews:

3 out of 5 stars Nice Concept   January 8, 2009
B. Dobler (Emerald Isle, NC United States)
I thought this would be a great toy to let my 6 month old get some belly time. It's a great idea but unfortunately she's not a fan of being on her tummy. Very durable though and if your child likes belly time then it is a great toy.

5 out of 5 stars Great for Babies development   July 1, 2008

My son got this toy when he was around 6 months old. Our Parents as Teachers advisor told us that pat mats were good for babies development. My son really loves smacking the mat with his hands and crawling around it and watching the toys inside move. I like this pat mat compared to others because it is easy for him to crawl all the way around and explore the whole toy.

It has become hardere and harder to locate baby gift such as these. It is so helpful to be able to find things at reasonable prices

4 out of 5 stars Good value-Great for babies to learn to tripod and creep   April 21, 2008
Thinker Mom
I found this mat to be very entertaining for a younger baby. It interests them enough that they try to tripod and or begin to creep. Of course it would not hold the attention of the baby that is actually crawling because those babies have places to go! It works well from about 3 months to 6 or so, depending on when your baby starts to be mobile. Good value. I don't want to invest a lot for a toy that is developmentally necessary but is outgrown quickly so this was perfect.

3 out of 5 stars I was disappointed with the play mat   February 9, 2008

My son did not play much with this mat. I wish that I had read more closely how small it is. The product might be good for a younger baby to encourage tummy time but by the time I purchased it for my son he was not interested.
