4 out of 5 stars It does what it is supposed to do   January 6, 2009
A reader (Coconut Creek, FL USA)
I don't agree with the reviews that say it doesn't cover the cart. I used it at both Target and Babies R Us while shopping with my 10 month old today and it worked. You just have to place it in the cart and tie the little ties on the side. I like the way it collapses into the little bag. Look at the picture of the child in it to see exactly what it covers. If thats not enough coverage for you don't buy it.

1 out of 5 stars Too Small   September 30, 2008
K. Kass (TX)
I had this in my baby registry and received it for the babyshower. Once my baby was old enough to sit up on his own, i tried it out but man, this is so tiny. It does not cover most of the carts. Target ones, at least in TX are all large carts. the only cart that I could think that it fits would probably be the tiny ones at Marshalls.
I sold mine.
don't recommend at all.

1 out of 5 stars Very unsafe product   July 13, 2008
Cindy M.
I registered for this and received it as a shower gift. Foolishly I did not look for reviews of the product beforehand. I really give this no stars. As many others have pointed out, it is too small for normal sized shopping carts (Target, grocery store carts) and is a pain to put on, but that really is the least of its problems. It is designed so that you cannot use the belts on the shopping cart to secure your child. The only thing "securing" your child in the cart are the flimsy ties that hold the cover on the cart. I cut slits in the back so that I could belt my child in, but I hate this thing so much that even with this improvement, I don't use it.

2 out of 5 stars Coverage isn't good   June 19, 2008
Jenna Glatzer (NY, United States)
Unfortunately, I'm here on Amazon looking for a new shopping cart cover because this one doesn't adequately do the job. The front doesn't fit the new carts with drink holders, and side coverage isn't adequate-- my daughter can touch and mouth the side of the cart, and can reach behind her and get to the rest of the cart with ease. Disappointing.

5 out of 5 stars Great product   January 13, 2008
Child Development teacher (Indian River, MI)
This is a great product but do not order from Target if you live in a rural area. They send it UPS to USPS and it took almost 2 weeks. It was in my post office longer than it was on order. I could have had a friend buy it and send it much faster through USPS.
