I love it, baby hates it December 28, 2007 J. W. Clark (Eugene, OR USA) This baby carrier was everything I hoped for: comfortable, useful and stylish. I am a plus size woman, and it fits me very well, which I had been worried about. The back support is great and it is easy for me to get on and off quickly... getting it off quickly is important, because sadly, my baby hates this carrier. She screams her head off every time I try to put her in it. Still, I'm going to keep trying. Hopefully she will get used to it someday. Being in motion (rather than standing still) seems to help a bit.
Comfortable Carrier December 11, 2007 L. McDoneld (New Orleans, LA USA) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
My granchild is quite comfortable in this carrier. He loves being able to be with me when I'm doing different activities at home. We love it. Great carrier. Excellent condition. Fast shipping.
Good carrier-especially for the price! December 21, 2006 Book Chick (USA) 7 out of 7 found this review helpful
I researched several carriers-including the Baby Bjorn-before purchasing the Snugli By My Side Carrier. I really needed lumbar support, and the lumbar strap on this is pretty good. I am short (5', 1") tall and it has been mostly very comfortable to me. I can walk around with my baby and have an extra diaper, my wallet, keys, and some wipes all stored in this. The cell phone carrier is too small for my cell phone, and perhaps for many others, but I can put the phone in one of the other pockets/pouches. My only wish is that the carrier held my baby a little more snug toward me, but I have used it since he was 2 months (he is now over 8 months and almost 20 lbs), and it still works great. Sometimes, the pull of weight on my neck is a little much, but the strap allows me to carry my baby on my side as well as in the front. It's a good buy-not as expensive as some others-and I have washed it on the gentle cycle in the washing machine with no problems.
Not for Petite Women June 14, 2006 Sandai (Georgia) 9 out of 10 found this review helpful
This carrier is great if you are the right sized person. It will not work for someone who is petite. I am 5' 4", but very short waisted (long legs and no body). The waist strap is too high for me even if I put it around my hips. The body of the carrier is longer than my body. I didn't even have to try it with the baby in it to know it won't work for me. That being said, if you aren't petite, this would be a great carrier. It has it all you could ask for: 3 positions, carrying pouch, bottle holder, etc. I seems to be well made too and it looks great. Unfortunately, I will be returning it for the Combi Urban Carrier.
