Adorable, Sweet, Simple, Fun January 21, 2008 Doug (Cocoa Beach, FL) I bought this for my daughter who is one this Christmas. After reading the reviews I was a little concerned about the toy's volume being too low. I have to say, this is really not a problem in my opinion. The sounds are cute, clearly audible, and not obnoxious. She loves looking through the clear window at the little animals inside and she loves putting them in the top and then pulling them through the flap down door. It's a great toy, no complaints.
Fantastic Gift! November 24, 2007 D. Rhodes (CA) I purchased this toy for my nephew's 1st birthday and he loves it! It is perfect for his age and abilities. The entire toy is made of soft fabric, so he cannot hurt himself... or his little teeth. With new teeth coming in, everything goes in the mouth. 12 months is the "discovery" age also. Now that he is more mobile, he loves to explore everything around him. He enjoys taking things apart and putting them back together. This toy allows him to do just that, and it makes cool animal noises at the same time! This cracks him up, and he loves to mimic the sounds. Not to mention, the toy tells him the name of each animal he puts into the "circus tent". So he is learning while exploring.
If only it were louder... August 3, 2007 New Urban Mom (Washington, DC) This is a great toy but the only problem with it is that it's far too quiet. It's supposed to say the name of the animal (and then make the noise of that animal) when you pull the animal out of the fabric-covered "circus." It's supposed to teach a child the name of the different animals. Unfortunately, because the volume is barely audible, I as an adult can barely hear it -- to say nothing of my 9 month old daughter hearing it. As a result, my daughter doesn't play with it as much I think she would if the volume level were louder. This company should learn how Neurosmith adds volume to its toys -- because they're far superior. (Be sure to check out the "Together Tunes" Toy Block by Neurosmith. Now that is a fantastic toy!) That said, I still think this is an adorable addition to my daughter's ever-growing collection.
Great idea, but sounds are too low August 1, 2007 E. Moses (London, Kentucky) My little boy likes this toy, and it is very durable and child-friendly. However, the sounds are so low you actually have to hush the entire room before anyone can hear them - which is difficult to do with two older siblings! My only hope is that fresh batteries will help the volume, but my expectation is low since it has been the same quality since we opened it.

a waste of my hard to come by money--- I am on a fixed income and bought this item for my 10 month old grandson for Christmas. Really a disappointment, good idea-BUT he can't even hear the animal sounds because they are so low..... If I could have taken it away from him, I definitely would have returned it for a refund!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
