The Kettler Teddy Bicycle Seat features an adjustable headrest to provide your child with a comfortable ride and two integrated side storage units for convenience. Kettler Childrens Bicycle Seats are unique in how they mount onto bicycles. They do not require a luggage rack on the bicycle rather they are mounted using a patented natural suspension system bracket which offers the child a more comfortable ride. They come with 7-position adjustable foot rests with a safety strap for added comfort and safety and can accommodate a child up to 50 lbs.

The seat is attached via Kettler's natural suspension system, which includes a universal mounting bracket that fits virtually any bicycle (no luggage rack required) while isolating the child from bumps and jostles. Just as importantly, the seat holds your child in a comfortable, secure position thanks to the adjustable headrest and the seven-position footrest (with adjustable straps). To ensure that your child is protected at all times--even during sudden stops--Kettler added a five-point safety harness. When you arrive home, simply remove the single pull pin from the universal mount and the Teddy comes off in an instant. Other details include two integrated side storage units for holding small items and a weight capacity of 50 pounds. We really enjoy the seat - the assembly is a bit of a pain - it will only fit on a men's bike. I was hoping to have my daughter ride behind me - but she's just fine with Dad!
The seat is light - and once the bracket is on the bike - it goes on and off very easily!! The only issue I have is that for a little one (my daughter was just 13 months when we started using the seat) that when she falls asleep - there is no cross bar in front to support her head - so she sort of lists to the side - it looks a little unnatural and uncomfortable but she loves getting on the bike and going for rides - and yelling "ding ding" at other people!

I was very disappointed in this bike seat. The plastic was not as durable as I thought it would be based on the cost of the seat. The directions that came with the seat were in german, no english instructions. The velcro used to buckle in the legs is very thin and easy to break out. The chest harness is easily removed, even for a 2 yr old.
