Editorial Review Baby spent nine months floating around in her/his own "aquarium," listening to the deep-sea sounds of Mommy's tummy--so why wouldn't she love to tune in to the gurgles and splashes of this Aquarium Bouncer? Four selections of music and sounds allow ocean waves, a babbling brook, summer rain, or lullabies to wash over Baby.
| The lightweight bouncy seat features an ocean-themed fabric seat with harness restraint (machine washable), calming vibrations, a baby- (or parent-) activated toy bar, and a pretend tank filled with swimming fish, bubbles, colored lights, and music. Infants can bat at fish and seahorse to activate music, lights, and sounds (and stimulate sensory development, by the way). Four selections of music and sounds (with volume control) allow ocean waves, a babbling brook, summer rain, or lullabies to wash over Baby. The removable toy bar features brightly colored toys with spinners, teethers, and textures to stimulate baby's sight and touch. Baby's going to be a veritable genius before s/he is through with this seat! Discontinue use when baby reaches 25 pounds or can sit upright unassisted. Four D batteries required (not included). Phillips head screwdriver needed for assembly (also not included). --Emilie Coulter

an inconsistent product January 8, 2009 AVO (East Coast) I've used this with my newborn now for about 5 weeks. After about 2 weeks, the mechanism that makes the bubbles move started making a terribly loud noise, like a grinding, so loud that you can't hear the music over it. I wish I could turn on the music without the bubbles, but all things are on one switch. Then I changed the batteries, and now the vibration for the seat is making a loud noise. Very frustrating. Ironically, my son actually does like the noises and vibrations, so I can't completely pan this bouncer, but being a work-at-home mom, I can't stand turning on the aquarium part. The harsh noise drives me nuts. If you read a cross-section of the reviews here, you can see that others have had this noise problem. I can't recommend this product.
It's Okay December 28, 2008 C. Mcmurray (New York) This product is okay. Sometimes the music does not play correctly and the water bubbles and fish do not move all of the time. If you move the chair while the music is on it will stop playing. Overall I think there are better chairs on the market then this one.
Great product November 14, 2008 H. Carter We've been using this since our baby was a week old, and he's really starting to enjoy it. For the first couple of weeks we just used the vibrations to help him sleep, but he's now (at a month old) starting to watch the lights and bubbles. A great buy, and I love having somewhere for him to nap in our living area. There are 2 battery compartments: one (takes 1 D-cell) for the vibrations and one (takes 3 D-cells) for the toy bar. The battery lasts a surprisingly long time for vibrations-only, but the toy bar drains them within a couple of days (when using 1-2 hours a day) so get 2 sets of rechargeables! The only thing I really don't like is the design of the battery compartment. You can't change the batteries while the baby's in the seat: you have to unbuckle the cover from underneath, and use a Philips screwdriver to open the hatches. But apart from that, it's been a sanity-saver!
Great however... November 10, 2008 J. Carter (Marrero, LA) I love this bouncer and my son does too, however, I don't like that the music shuts off after it's played all the songs it has. Not only does the music stop but the activity in the aquarium does as well.
Diver at heart September 10, 2008 L. Sanchez (Rochester, NY) My daughter loved sitting in this FP Ocean Wonders Aquarium Bouncer. It gave me moments of tranquility, while she watched the fish make bubbles and listened to the peaceful music play. Once she learned to kick, she was able to turn the fish on all by herself, which she loved doing. We are glad we purchased this item. It's a great buy, not terribly expensive and worth every penny.
